The Powering the Community (PTC) contest is geared towards challenging student teams to learn and apply concepts in energy management and artificial intelligence to design a smart energy management system unique to their homes. The program will culminate with a video submission showcasing each team’s final design, and industry judges will review the videos to identify the top three teams.

We will be hosting four identical information sessions in December 2025 and January 2026. During each session, we will outline the contest structure, share details about the design projects, and provide an overview of the resources and support available to participating students and educators.
